Happy New Year... I have been quiet recently due to travelling and working on other exciting projects in London. I collaborated with the guys from Cool Cousin and became part of their exclusive community. Cool Cousin is the app that every traveller needs, especially for the ones who are looking for the local insights instead of just the usual tourist spots. That project blended well with the concept of HipAbroad, since it was a great opportunity to divulge my top venues to eat, drink, work out and shop in London. I am still actively involved in that project, click here to discover more.

Moreover, food columnist, Suki, has been taking me out around London to taste even more restaurants, especially new openings. In this issue, she is tasting the acclaimed Jason Atherton's Japanese fare, Sosharu and The Ivy additional establishment in the London East side.

Everyone is talking about how cold it is this Winter so let’s focus on escapism and my favourite European spots where you can still catch some sun.

In this issue, we are discovering the very hip Lisbon that I have adored since I went there for the first time four years ago. I try to return to Lisbon at least once a year but this time it was really special, as I was with my tribe, it was very fun, relaxing and inspiring. It was the top experience of my Summer.

We are also taking you to two of the Balearics Islands - Ibiza and Formentera. I was sad not to return because I just adore the food and always recommend visiting. Luckily, my friend Holly has been to Formentera last summer and contributed to my list of sensory experiences to have in these never out-of-fashion islands. Ibiza has the reputation of being just a party place, which is true, but you can also have an amazing, quiet and romantic time off the beaten path.

Finally, I headed to Guatemala and Mexico for Christmas and New Year. In Mexico, I celebrated New Year’s Eve in magical Tulum and then spent a few days in Isla de Holbox for the first time, so I am very excited to share my discoveries with you. Guatemala was really beautiful and diverse; a wanderlust video will be published in the next issue along with a review of our top experiences in Antigua.
